Christine Lynes is both an arts educator and a practicing professional
artist. Her education, career and her own art developed around a
fundamental devotion to crossing boundaries to find new ways to explore
creativity. While in university at York she studied the disciplines of
photography, painting, 2D design, design technology and new media,
printmaking and foundry (bronze casting).
She has worked with a number of interdisciplinary arts collectives and
studios in the past 15 years as a practicing member of the Canadian arts
community.
Christine continues to show and sell her work in Toronto and
Montreal. Christine is avaliable for wedding photography, family
portraiture, and portraiture, having a portfolio that includes work done
for professional actors and industry models. She is also avaliable for
private fine art commissions (photography, painting/installation) as well
as private sales.
