Christine Lynes has over five years experience teaching yoga and has been a devoted student of yoga herself for well over a decade. She currently teaches in and around the GTA and Mississauga to a diverse group of students with unique needs. She has taught yoga to professional dancers, tri-athletes, students with residual pain/injuries and of all ages ranging from the very young to 'zoomer clients'. She is well-known for her youth and children and corporate yoga classes also. Some of her coporate clients  include; the Peel Adult Learning Centre (Port Credit) annual picnic and teaching yoga to teachers and staff at a number of schools (Dufferin-Peel Board of Education). Christine teaches in group situations but much prefers the connections made possible through small semi-private, or private yoga instruction. She is avaliable for both location classes and classes taught in her home studio. Christine hopes to help her students address their own needs, allowing them to develop a practice that is designed with the ‘individual’ in mind. Christine's teaching practice has developed out of her intensive training as a RYT certified Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher through Toronto's Yoga Space under the guidance of owner and primary teacher Kathryn Beet. Since her initial training in 2003, Christine has developed a teaching method appreciated by her students... One that is finely tailored to suit the duality that exists in all of us!

 

 She is best known by her students for delivering a class that appeciates their needs in 'the moment'. Though classes can greatly vary in pace, structure and form, dependant on the participants, Christine's style of teaching promises a class with a primary focus on building core stability, strength and flexibility, perfect for the beginner practitioner! Her classes will both challenge beginners and more seasoned pupils, and offer an excellent workout centred, primarily in the breath. All of Christine's yoga classes address inner alignment needs, allowing participants to release, relax and let go of the stress of their day while working on finding inner and outer balance through a holistic and rewarding yoga practice!
